Local Volunteer Opportunities
EVENT VOLUNTEERS
Event Volunteers often find themselves in exciting, fast-paced situations. These individuals are tasked with various jobs during their shift, and should feel comfortable switching roles at any given moment. They work at the event site, or out in the community to promote SIGN in a positive light. Shift times vary, and last the entirety of any given event. We rely on our event volunteers to interact positively with our event attendees, donors, board members, visiting surgeons, staff, and community members.

OFFICE VOLUNTEERS
Office Volunteers support SIGN Staff with day-to-day tasks and general company operations. These volunteers work alongside our office staff with projects including Newsletter mailings, Event invitation mailings, and other miscellaneous tasks. Shift times fall during regular business hours and can be anywhere from 1-4 hour shifts.

TECHNICAL VOLUNTEERS
Technical Volunteers contribute to SIGN through skill-based projects. These volunteers provide insight to address technical, computational, and scientific challenges at SIGN. They frequently donate their talents to a good cause, while simultaneously solving real problems that arise at SIGN. Our teams love collaborating with individuals looking to give their time. Interested persons should contact info@signfracturecare.org with their resume and interests.
ADVOCACY VOLUNTEERS
Advocacy Volunteers live up to their name. These volunteers are eager, vocal, and involved in community events. They are bold and outgoing, always enthusiastically promoting SIGN to their friends, neighbors, and community members. These community members frequently post on social media, share SIGN communications. Advocacy Volunteers are SIGN Rockstars!

Overseas Volunteer Opportunities
We send qualified orthopaedic surgeons to SIGN Programs around the world to learn our SIGN Technique! Our volunteers assist with surgeries at our busiest programs and help provide training to surgical residents. Most trips last just a week or two, but our volunteers find that the value of their training and the friendships they make last a lifetime. We will work with you to find opportunities and schedule your visit.
